Cambrillones Jover, working towards their participation in Anpic, once again
The company located in Pinoso has been taking part in Anpic for the past 9 years. “Steel shanks are what we make and show, and we have a very large number of different models. Regarding this edition, we expect it to be more profitable than the last one. In this market sector, currency exchange rates (Euro-dollar) can significantly affect business, and in these past years we have lost competitiveness due to this. But this tradeshow is the most important to us in America. All events of this kind are useful, though they may change with time. Anpic offers us access to various markets including Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Canada, El Salvador, Colombia, etc.”, says Roberto Jover, Manager of Cambrillones Jover. The company markets over 8,000 references.
Steel shanks manufactured by Grupo Jover are made with steel with high carbon content, in several models, widths and thicknesses in accordance to what clients require. Components made by Jover are used by sole pads and footwear manufacturers.
One third of their overall production is exported, mostly to France, the UK, Hungary, Canada, Tunisia, Morocco, Argelia, Israel, Greece, Mexico, Chile, Guatemala, Portugal, Italy, etc.
“Steel shanks are the backbone of shoes, and we make them in various heights and angles, depending on the lasts. They are used to make sole pads for women, men and children, and also in sole made of polyurethane, rubber, etc.”, Mr. Jover explained.
